Collecting Poglins

Players can build a large collection of Poglins and create a variety of teams to do battle. There are hundreds of Poglin breeds to collect, and each one has its own unique evolutionary path that is discovered through fusion.

Limited vs. Unlimited

Poglins fall under two categories:

1. Limited Poglins are NFTs that are released as a part of a limited set. These Poglins are supply constrained and capable of being exchanged in our upcoming in-game Marketplace feature.

2. Unlimited Poglins are given to the player as a part of their starting collection or as an in-game reward. Although these Poglins can be used in battles like any other, they are not NFTs and are bound to the account that they were created on. Furthermore, they have a randomized Innate Value (IV) that improves their CP.

Both categories of Poglin can be consumed in fusion. Limited Poglins yield more Fusion XP than Unlimited Poglins and are burned in the process.

Sets

At launch, there will be 60 Poglins in the base collection. All players will be able to access this base collection through the Unlimited set. True to its name, all Poglins in this set are unlimited. Furthermore, Poglins in the Unlimited set will be progressively unlocked as you advance to certain arenas.

New releases will periodically occur. These will all be limited sets containing a mix of base collection Poglins and new Poglins. The quantity and distribution of the Poglins will be based on rarity, with rarer Poglins being printed in smaller numbers; this data will be made public in advance. Once the set’s supply is exhausted, it will not be reprinted again except by community decision.

Hatching Poglins

The most common source of Poglins is by hatching them from eggs, which can be purchased from the Shop. There will always be the option to purchase eggs from the Unlimited set, and there will be regular releases of limited set eggs.

A single Poglin hatches from each egg. If it is an egg from the Unlimited set, the Poglins available are restricted by the current arena. Furthermore, the Innate Bonus IV of the Unlimited Poglin is determined at this time.

Trading Poglins

Players will be able to buy and sell Limited Poglins from the Marketplace. There will be more details on this feature at a later date.

Collection Capacity

Each player can own a finite number of Poglins. The base capacity will be 35. Players can also spend Stubs to increase the capacity of their collection by 7, up to a maximum of 350.

If a player exceeds their maximum collection capacity, they cannot start a battle until they fuse some of their Poglins.
