# Advanced

During a clash, both Poglins will attempt to use their skills. These skills trigger in a certain order. Understanding this order is the key to developing more sophisticated strategies.

1. Passive skills, such as Weaknesses, apply their effects immediately
2. Auras and Traps in the arena trigger
3. Poglins with Priority clash immediately if their CP is higher
4. Counter removes the opposing Poglin’s active skills
5. Field changes the conditions of the arena! Poglins on both sides may have their CP modified.
6. Auras and Traps effects are added to the tracker; they will be deployed at the end of turn
7. Clear removes all Auras and Traps effects
8. Boost increases CP against Poglins under certain conditions
9. Reveal flips over one of the Poglins on the opposing Bench
10. Support and Snipe change the CP of Poglins on your or your opponent's Bench
11. Both Poglins clash! The one with higher CP wins. Barrier prevents a Poglin from losing the clash if its CP is lower.
12. Auras and Traps in the tracker are deployed to the arena
